Sorry to hear of your misfortune and it sounds like someone was watching over you to come thru that alive. I've cracked my tailbone twice and have trouble sitting for longer periods when turkey hunting. I've gotten good results from a chair I won at a NWTF turkey banquet and that small black chair that JW! has a picture of. The front legs are longer so it leans you back into the tree and has allowed me to sit longer as a result. Plus it has a sling that goes over the shoulder. Might be an option...
