RE: helical or straight offset fletchings
For field points, I got good flight with straight offsets. My Muzzys seemed to group better with a good helical.
I threw some of my arrows high into the air (AWAY from me of course) and the straight offsets barely seemed to rotate. The helicals began spinning instantly convincing me that they were much more stable.
