I have a small problem with my upcoming turkey hunting season. My wife has to be at work early, so I get the kids off to school every morning before I go to work. I took a weeks vacation to turkey hunt, but I still have to get the kids off to school at 8:30am. Should I camo up the kids and take them with me, hunt till 7:45 ish and then take them to school.........or wait and go after they get on the bus? They boys love to go dove hunting with me. I don't know if they can sit still enough to turkey hunt. I don't think a blind is in the budget this year, so they will be sitting on the ground with me. I am not worried about safety too much....on private property and the land owner hunts with me.We have never heard or seen another hunter in the woods, other than the occasional mushroom hunter. He said to bring them along. It would be easier to go after 8, but we ( the boys included) want to try and get one as they come off the roost. What do you think? They are 9 and 7 by the way.
