I hunted off of FR41 just northeast of Bearpaw Butte and Sheets Pass. I came in from I-90 by Crystal Springs Campgrounds which is the first exit after Hyak. After that first year, I never went back. I was sitting on a hillside overlooking a big clearcut. I'd been there for 2 hours when a big Dodge 2500 w/Cummings Diesel engine comes rumbling up the logging road I'd been perched on all morning. Between the road hunters and dirt bikes, I swore I'd never hunt there again.
