I have used decellerator pads in the past. Sims nailed this one though. great product. My .300 WSM now feels like a .22/250. Sims doesnt make a pad for the Savage syn stocks yet. but I sorted through the templates and the Thompson oncore pad fits pretty well, had to drill one new hole and minimal shaping.
Also, if you go with the new accu trigger, you will love it!! great trigger with no creep. I just finished with breaking the barrel in, best 7 shot group so far was .75 Have had a few 3 shot .5" groups. 1st Savage I have ever owned, wont be the last!!
