I am thinking about having my savage 308 rebarreled. One of my options is the 260 Rem. This gun is mainly used for deer hunting in Louisiana & Alabama. There are a few shots over 300 yds, but the majority are under 200 yds. What will I be giving up or gaining by going with the 260?
