DAAA! Now I remember about the boss replacement gizzmo. Its funny what a guy can forget. I have been checking the MFG webb sights looking for the heaviest 300 WSM. So far the Vanguard is the heaviest I have found at 7 3/4 lbs. Perhaps with a heavy scope and sling and a good recoil pad, it should not be to bad. I have a good shooting Browning A-Bolt 308 that I could use. The guy I am going hunting with has a 416 Rem Mag that he bought from me quite a few years back.
