I don't like the Idea of a compesater but maybe the boss which as I understand can be opened and closed might be ok. Is this true with the Boss. I have never shot one
This is not true.There is a replacement device that can be exchanged with the regular boss to eliminate the muzzle brake but the boss can't be opened and closed.As far as velocity is concerned,boss equipped rifles deliver less velocity than non boss equipped rifles due to the fact that boss equipped rifles have shorter barrels installed.
