Default 300 WSM rifles.

For those who shoot and reload for the 300 WSM. What kind of velocities are you getting from 180 and 200 grain bullets. What kind of rifle do you have. Does anyone have the Browning A-Bolt with the Boss? If so what kind of recoil are you looking at? The bad shoulder is the reason I ask. The recoil of the 30-06 does not bother it if I keep the number of shots from the bench to a minimum. I had a Savage synthetic 300 Win Mag a while back. That was a bit to much and caused the shoulder to ache for a couple days after just a few shots. The Savage however is a pretty light rifle. I believe under 7 lbs. I don't like the Idea of a compesater but maybe the boss which as I understand can be opened and closed might be ok. Is this true with the Boss. I have never shot one. I may be hunting in the heart of Grizzly country next fall. My other option might be a BLR in 450 Marlin. I will be hunting Moose. I do have a 45-70 but its just a single shot as I wore my old Marlin out. I have a 280 as well but its a single shot as well. Thanks folks.
