I cleaned the barrel using both tc no. 13 and other bore cleaner along with a brass brush before i ever shot the gun. After that, i coated the bore with rem oil and then ran 2 dry patches (both sides) to be sure all teh excess oil was out. I did not swab between each shot, but i cleaned the gun after every 3 shots. I am going to use the shockwave 250 grain sabots to hunt anyway, but i just thought my groups should be a little better than that with the xtps. I have not heard yet of anyone having problems grouping with the shockwaves with 100 grains of powder, so i will try that this weekend and see what happens. Also, does anyone think the shockwave 250 will be good for caribou hunting in quebec?
