I agree with T/C Fan. I have a 4x Burris on a 12 guage slug gun and it has taken a lot of abuse and just keeps on ticking. In fact, I hadn't used the gun in three years and when a situation reguired that I had to use it at the last minute, it was right on the money right out of the gun safe with no tinkering required. But I guess you can get a lemon in anything.

By the way T/C Fan, you are da man! Shooting a 45/70 contender! I inherited a Ruger #1 in 45/70 and it brings tears to my eyes shooting it with my shoulder and a pachmyer recoil pad.
