stay far away from any burris! i got rid of my beer can looking red dot scope on my 629 classic because buying batteries sucks and no matter how hard you try one day you will forget to turn it off. the one i had used expensive big watch-camera type batteries. also the glow from that thing when set high will make you look like a space alien to the deer and bear.go with the fixed power extended relief m-8 leupold. i wouldnt care what finish it is. get the best price you can because if your using it for hunting youll want to put a camo bear tooth scope cover over the scope anyway.be sure to check the want adds on this site. i got mine mint condition for 100$
