I've got the Super Blackhawk that you ask of. It's not the Hunter model, but the 7 or 7.5" standard SBH.

Mine shoots very well...I had it drilled and tapped for a scope (red dot 1.75x), I feel confident taking 100yrd shots on deer with it with my handloads.

Regrettably, I bought mine just a week before Ruger announced the "Hunter" model. I wish I would have waited, then I'd have certainly waited and bought a Hunter version with the scope rail already installed.

I'm looking at a Single Six hunter in .17HMR right now, I think that'd be one hot little varmint gun!
