The easiest way Ive found to gut a rabbit is to take a 2x4 and have it leaning up against a building and have two nails driven in it about 3-4 inches apart about waist high. After you skin it, just hook it on the nails through the tendon on the leg with the belly facing you. This way, you can make an easy incision and gut it very fast. Also, if you have a good pair of shears, it makes cutting the legs off easier. Hope this helps. Also, definitely try a fried rabbit and gravy recipe.
