VA Head Hunter,

Several localities across the state participate in the urban archery program. The season began September 18, 2004 and will close March 26, 2005. You can read up on it at the VDGIF website.

I'm getting off the original topic here but I really wish VA would open archery season in September. I live less than 5 minutes from NC and their season began September 11. If the deer population continues to grow I think it will eventually happen. However, I think we as hunters need to unite and contact our representatives about this.
