Personally, over the years i've had better luck going "down" one cal. than going "up" one cal.. Both work, but going up many times your necks will end up thicker on one side than the other. I'd rather fireform when going up, that is if the case is going up very much. If your looseing cases going "down" only one cal.. then you better find your self a new lube!!

I use Imperial sideing die wax for all case forming, and so far i haven't found anything better. I have sized, formed, and reformed more than a hundred thousand cases useing it. But i have to admit i haven't tried any of the new lubes that have come out in the last few years.
