I dont have one yet.....I do have a 1917 Eddystone that is on it's way to being one. I was going to use 30-06 brass when reloading. As far as your other questions the performance should be similar to a 270 with similar handloads and recoil similar also. Good luck with yours if you get one/have one, let us know what ya do with it!!
