The only negative I have with any of Savages offerings is the quality of their finishes, be them stainless or blued. They SUCK and will rust quickly. But with a little effort or even having them coated, you can rest assured that the gun, from a mechanical point of view, will do any job you ask of it.

I LOVE my Savage ML 10II. I plan on having it Tcoated this summer because of the aformentioned rusting tendancy, but shooting and performance wise this thing is a Ferrari with a Chevrolet price of admission. Savage is among one of the finer barrel makers in the business and if given a choice ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS go with the AccuTrigger. The system is flawless!
