Yep they are right. It is a common practice to have the taxi mount a deer after spreading the antlers further then it really was. The more common practice is tilting the angle of the antlers out creating spread inchs. I seen them moved from 16 inch spreads to 20 plus inch spreads.Once the mount is done and hide on .Noway to tell unless you take the mount apart. I bet you some were officially scored that way
