I also shoot 125 grain simmons land sharks with bleeders from this set up. The head, with bleeder, is around 140 grains. The extra 40 grains quiets the bow a little and has shot through a few big florida hogs. There is no spine issue, even at 65 lbs. I fyou are really concerned about energy, Id just shoot a cut on contact head- simmons, g5 or magnus stinger....in that order!Good luck.
