Not sure what Lane is doing, but I think I will start with 85 gr. AP powder BY VOLUME. The only time I feel comfortable using weight is after I have found my load and I want to get each of the loads I use more uniform by weighing them. The values that I start with (85-90 grains by volume) have no relationship with what the loads actually weigh, regardless of the BP substitute I use.
