Welcome to the board Sailor, I have never owned a Burris scope. There has been allot of topics on scopes. Many say Burris is a good scope.I been using Leupold Vari XII and have been very happy with their performance.From what I have gathered from this Forum, stay away from Simmons and Tasco.You are much better off buying good optics from the start.
