I was putting the finishing touches on getting ready last night in about a foot and a half of snow; I'd just got my stand to hunting height and had strapped my velcro release on when I looked to my right and saw two deer coming in to me and they were already only fifty yards away.

I figure in the muffled quiet of the snow that if I can get away with using the velcro, it's gonna be ok most all other times too.
