Definitely the 22 Hornet.... see my name? Go with the CZ rifle, lots of people report REALLY good things with them... the Ruger is a nice rifle, about the same price as the CZ... If you like single shots.. get a TC Contender Carbine, or Encore (little bigger rifle)... they are tack drivers of the first order.. usually with no tuning. If money is no object, get an Anschutz bolt action, or Browning Low-Wall..(another single shot)....
The 218 is a good cartridge...maybe SLIGHTLY more powerful than a n hornet, but not enough to tell.... but they are VERY hard to find ammo for... the hornet stuff is nearly everywhere. The 219 Zipper is basically obsolete. If you want to get the most versatility out of your hornet, you need to reload... it's a blast... you'll love it.
