Default RE: PAPER TUNNING

In my experience, the fall away rests all paper tune easier than conventional type rests. Because they drop or fall out of the way they are not GUIDING the shaft for any long amount of time. I also feel that there is too much weight put on the paper tuning aspect. If your form is not good and you can't make a good shot you will never get consistently good holes. A friend of mine who is one of the better shooters in the state and a dealer doesn't even worry that much about it !! He sets up a bow and shoots an arrow, then shoots his 2nd arrow aiming at the 1st. If they both hit the same he adjusts the sight knowing that if they hit the same that the bow must be adjusted properly. I setup alot of bows that I can shoot good holes with but the customer will never be able to until they work on their form. This may not apply to most shooters on this forum but does apply to alot of new shooters. If someone is choking their bow grip they may as well give up on shooting good holes. If all they want is to kill a deer at under 20 yards ok, if they want to hit a 14 or 11 ring then they need to work at it !!
