john deer- you are welcome that part of the state typical has larger bears.shorter, milder winters and higher protein diets. bring good rain gear....gortex will last about one day... if you are staying in a cabin you will be able to dry out nightly....big plus
i hunt prince wm sound and we get pretty good bears but they are generally bigger down there. be sure to let us know how you do. if cruising the beaches remember that it is illegal there to shoot from boats.
