RE: Wingbone calls
As the name might imply, I use them regularly. They are extremely effective. To learn to do it does take a lot of practice. But once you get the technique, they're easy to use. I make 'em myself. I've got all my turkey hunting relatives, neighbors and their kids using them. They also make a very effective striker for a slate or pot call. It gives you two calls in one. Stay away from ones made from gobbler wings. In my opinion, for the most part, they are pitched too low . I make mine out of jake or hen wings. They have a very nice tone.
