WAYNE1... I have been watching the NE Washington observations out of the NWS Spokane office, and it seems there is a temperature inversion going on over there right now. RE; Laurier,in the bottom of the Kettle River valley-has been consistantly colder than Bunchgrass Meadow at 5000', and Sentinel Butte at 4900', And Sherman pass>

will say this much- Spokanes long range forcast sure looks a LOT better than the west slopes of the Cascades
