Default RE: Anyone use American Poineer propellents?

I've used clean shot before, both loose and pellets. I thought it worked pretty well, I didn't have any trouble with the powder going bad and I live in Michigan. I even shot the pellets with a musket cap instead of 209 shot primers, no problems. I use 777 now and like it, my buddy is going back to clean shot next year, he doesn't care for the 777. He said it cleans up harder, I don't notice it in my remington.

I like it better than pyrodex, but like said above it is kind of slow when shot loose compared the same volume of pyro or 777. Not always a bad thing though.
