TAZMAN: They are right you know. I was throwing a little dirt on the serious 3D'r. You can have a blast and you'll see all levels of competency. You'll hear arrows rattle off trees and screams of HOLY......! It's really good training. I have shot so many times in my yard I can't find a spot I don't instantly know the range. There's always uphill, downhill, cross gully, wooded, open..... all kinds of shots that can effect range estimation. It is really FUN. Years ago I shot tournaments every week from March through August just to get ready for hunting season. It'll make you a better shot and you'll learn something from someone whos better.(and he will be there)
