Hello AK'ns! Say, me and a couple of my buddies are planning a trip to Prince of Whales Island to hunt blackbear next spring. I was wondering if any of ya'll have hunted the island before or know much about the island, and could give me a few pointers. This is my first blackbear hunt and I've never been to that part of the world. This is a do it yourself hunt, we aren't hiring any guideservice. I was hoping to get to talk to someone that's already hunted the island, but any info would be greatly appreciated.
