Where will the arguement end? If a deer passes by your stand and stops and looks at you and waits a long time to give you a good shot, is that hunting or shooting? I mean, I suppose some people would argue it's not hunting because it's not fair chase - the deer saw you and was not intelligent enough to run, therefore the hunter had an unfair advantage so he/she would just be shooting and not hunting.
No argument here just stating my opinion, that what this forum is about , right?
Yes thats what I strive for. I would consider this hunting because I take the time to scout and put my stands up on trails where deer travel and strive for a GOOD shot! Not over a bait pile or out my bedroom window. Also I would not shoot at a running deer because I know my limitation with the weapon I am hunting with. I don't practice a running shot so I will NOT take one. Thats just me, some people a confident enough to take that shot, even with a Bow. I'm not, sorry. This is my opinion!

Maybe I'm wrong trying to push my values on others maybe I'm not. Its what I believe in and if thats what you believe in so be it! Good luck!
Here's a ???? If you harvested a mature deer out your window would you be proud and tell people how it was harvested?
