Venison to the landowner is a good thing... I have an evening hunt location that's a given for deer sightings... and the landowner, although he's never asked, certainly appreciates the packages of venison I've provided. It's a nice way to say "thanks" again for letting me participate in a sport I love, while graciously hunting on the property of another.
