The "Smartwork" books are probably the cheapest and fastest through Mark at www.coonriverkennels.com

The PL video shows some good PLs working, but it has ZERO training info in it.

He points Grouse consistently. As far as distance, it varies with lots of different factors. But from 5 yards to 15 yards is the normal range. As you can tell from the second pic, our grouse areas are extremely thick as well. PLs are great in that kind of cover.
