I also hunt in oklahoma and the late season is a little tougher but the weather here in ok is great for late season, no sweating to death like early season but not to many super cold days either. I usually give the deer a week after the slaughter season (gun) and head back out. I have taken 4 deer in the past 3 years in late season. I have also seen 1-2 great bucks each year late. Just haven't conected on one yet, all does and one cull buck. Can't get one at home!!!
