RE: question for people that own land
I have a similar situation - I have verbal permission to hunt a stretch of woods "anytime". I haven't talked to the land owner since last season. I'm hunting it this season based on his "hunt it anytime" invitation. No one lives on this property though, so I'm not intruding on anyone's lifestyle by being there. I guess you will have to ask yourself that question. As far as "welcome anytime", I take that literally as an open invitation to hunt the land. I'd say go for it if you have exhausted every effort in trying to contact the landowner. Another thing, are there others that have permission to hunt this property? If so, it may be wise to contact these people.
