RE: Scope power
If I'm shooting for really tight groups I might dial my scope up to about an 8x at 100 yards. This is mostly for shooting paper. When hunting 4x should be plenty at 100 yards.
I think it is tough to get away from the lower powers. Those 1.5x are really nice. However I want something that will dial at least to 8 or 9x. I like the 2-8x scopes.
