I (and the rest of my group 10 total) shoot Rem 1100 with a smooth bore. Full smooth bore barrel with rifle sights, none of that rem choke crap. Rem chokes heat up at a different rate than the main barrel and you get real arratic flight with slugs after a few shots. I don't have this problem with the older barrels without the rem choke. We also shoot winchester super X foster slugs. I have tried all the rifle barrels and super sabot slugs and always end up with the 1100 smooth bore. I practice by shooting clay pigeons off a post at 100 yds. According to all the experts I should't be able to do this with my 1100 smooth bore.
