really you don't have to soak them,just skin and trim off the meat and pour salt on the skull and hang up for a couple days,wash off and resalt.after a couple days wash off and let dry.then put on the plaque.

if you really want to soak;then put some borax in a pot and enough water to cover the skull (Be sure not to put to much water,don't get the water on the horns) bring to a boil and boil till all the meat falls off,then let dry.
BE SURE TO DO THIS OUT SIDE!!!!![:'(]the smell will cause the wife to file papers[:'(][][&:]
