Snowshoes taste like crap compared to regular Rabbits. They are definatly a blast to hunt. I did so also when I first arrived but promptly stopped as I couldn't find a good way to eat them. Never had the opportunity to hunt them behind a dog though, I am sure that could be a hoot. Used to walk the thick stuff still hunting. Pretty tough to see white on white even with my young eyes.

Bummer on the Anchor. I had heard some good reports of guys from up here doing very well on slightly high and dirty water. I almost made the trip down today and tomorrow but I had heard the water was back to high and dirty. Not to mention the rods are horrible. Rumor has it cantwell has around 10 feet of snow already! Shame I sold my seld !
