If I could only have one gun it would be a Ruger 77 Mk II all weather in 30-06. I think the scope is a bit over kill though. I would put a Bushnell Elite 3200 in 3-9x40 or Elite 4200 in 2.5-10x40 on it because they let in a lot of light and have the rain guard coating that works very well. I would also use 165gr bullets they are almost as fast and flat as the 150s but they have almost the energy of the 180s.
