RE: remington 710
xd9x19- your question to the serious hunter thing. i think what most of us were talking about was that when you shoot a lot in the off season then go out and hunt hard all day as many days as you can no matter what the weather or what time of day.
i'll tell you what when i am trecking though the streams, snow, hail, wind and climbing every mountain from here to tomorrow and i finally get a shot i want a rifle i know will handle the task.
the 710 is more set up for the guys that get a gun shoot 3 bullets to make sure the gun is on then go out and hunt 2 days for 3 hours.
i am sorry but i could never see buying one. you can find other guns that are cheaper and a hole lot better. i have no clue why reminton ever made the 710 to begin with. and i think they should make it $100-150 cheaper.
