In earlier in the year I'd say hunt the stands and then leave them alone for awhile, but now that the rut is almost here and hitting hard....all of the added deer movement will help you out. You could have deer coming by your stand that haven't been in your area before or if they have only a few times. I'd think good scent control is a must with this situation. Hunt away. Can't shoot them from your couch. lol
