Default So mad I can't see straight! advise pls

Unbelievable! My buddy and I had always hunted public land or just asked permission. After dealing with crowded areas and road hunters while we were in the trees, we decided to try and lease our own spot. We found a spot near Omaha that has a lot of promise. There are other hunters in the same section, but the 240 acres is half trees and near a creek. We have been scouting all summer and put our stands up in July. Plenty of mineral blocks to keep the herd healthy. Two weeks ago, the action started to pick up and we were seeing plenty of young bucks. I even had my first experience with two bucks fighting. The pre rut was coming soon. Well, last week my buddy took Friday off to hunt and drove out to the property to see a big back hoe and two big trucks knocking down trees and diggin in the trees. He asked the guys what they were doing and he said the land owner has the property in a wet lands program and we need to move our stands so they don't crush them while moving the trees. Obviously, we are pissed. I called the leasing company and gave them heck and told them to tell the farmer to refund our money. Well, several calls back and forth and the farmer really wants us to stay. He will refund the money, but the hunting opportunities are definately limited now. They said they won't take any more trees out and they will be done by tomorrow. I think the deer will settle back down in a couple weeks, but it has ruined some of our bow hunting in the best time. What would you guys do?[:@]
