Default RE: detachable quiver on or off

I have a kwikee kwiver that locks down tightly onto my Mathews so it doesn't make any sound. I also have limbsavers on it to dampen the noise. The quiver's weight does affect the bow's accuracy somewhat by canting it slightly. It does not affect it enough for hunting purposes at ranges out to 40 yds, even with broadheads (fixed or mechanical). Whatever you do make sure you practice with it either on or off and hunt that exact same way. I personally always practice with it on because I hunt with it on. Consistency is the key. If you can't make up your mind shoot with it both ways and see which one you like better and only shoot that way. It may not affect arrow flight for you, but it does affect the feel of the bow, which is important for consistency. I don't mind shooting with it off, but I have been shooting with it on for years and I don't want to change it.

Good Hunting!
