I was interested in a Falcon early in the year, and hadn't had one in my hands untill the Kalamazoo show in Jan. For me the Falcon felt like a 2X4 in my hand and just didn't have a comfortable grip. I did end up buying a Hunter II take down that was a nice fit in the hand and was a great shooting bow. You may just want to see if you can shoot one first. If it were me I would spend the extra few $$ and buy a Hunter II. Just my .02
