I think you've already performed the acid test, which is how it works for you. Outside of that opinion, I'd ignore all others relating to finger pinch, finger shooting in general, as they will be biased towards another's physiology...
As far as Parker goes, from what I've read they build a really solid bow. Only knocks I've heard on them are-
1- They use less than top quality strings and cables, stretch may be an issue for you, which can be rectified by aftermarket quality upgrades. Same can be said about Mathews, by the way.
2- Draw lengths come .5-1" longer than stated.
3- IBO speed claims are high when a bow is set up to AMO draw length spec, see #2 for how they claim higher numbers.
As long as these don't bother you, shoot away. I've drawn the Phoenix 34, and it definitely has an easy draw cycle.
