I do have a question though, The deer have been moving later than normal this season ,just before dark and after dark. could it be that its still warm during the day, 85-91 degrees. in my way of thinking, they're staying bedded down because of the heat
They move during the day all sumer long (some days) regardless of the heat so that is not the reason. I have heard it suggested, that at least here in GA, due to a heavy Acorn crop, they just don't have to move as much to feed.
