I'm not sure if it matters but have wondered the same thing. I take precautions to break-up all my stands. First.......I camo paint all my portables in a pattern similar to Predator Fall Grey. Second......I buy a package of those plastic leaves, (2 per branch) and zip tie 6 or 7 to the platform stand base edges and bottom. Its amazing how that works!
