My brother and I stalked a real nice 10 point once that way. Problem was it was during a scouting trip a week before the season. We were in the woods looking around and I happened to look out in the field and there he was feeding. We got right to the edge and waited. About a half hour later he fed within 20 feet of us. The wind was perfect. We went back during the season but never saw him again. What a rush!
